K. G. VALDEZ

Hi! I’m Karla Valdez, a UX/UI Designer with roughly 6 years of development experience. I started my career during college working on fun projects myself or freelancing for organizations while pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Communication Technology from The University of Texas at Arlington. Since then, I’ve obtained more in-depth knowledge in development and design fundamentals in my work field. I have web experience in the higher education, aviation, and media marketing industries.

Outside of work, I sit on the Board of Directors for a non-profit in Old East Dallas, Community Concern. I am a part of the Mentor Executive Team for the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas – Fort Worth Chapter. Most recently, a DIY home renovator (first-time home owner – whoop whoop).
